This is a math lesson I prepared for my peers. I chose this lesson because I received great feedback from my peers, professor, and the two TAs who were teaching the class. We talked about how this lesson can be expanded to include area, volume, and surface area. The activity required sugar cubes and icing, YUM! It was hands-on, was differentiated with oral and visual instructions. Students could be strategically placed in pairs so that they are with someone they work well with or get additional needed support from. The Prezi below guides the entire lesson, including the introduction, body, and conclusion of the lesson. Below is an attachment of the lesson plan, the accompanying worksheet, and the Prezi.
